Harewood Garage is a family run business now coming into its fourth generation. Our ethos and working practices have been built up over more than fifty years and subsequently handed down through the generations. Customer care and safety remain at the heart of this business.
Harewood originally moved their established father and son business from Watford to Andover in the late ’60s. Paul took over from his father Bert and became full owner in the ’80s, maintaining and developing the success of Harewood with a strong and long-standing customer base.
As Harewood’s proud owner, Paul continues to be the driving force behind the garage. Since his trade beginnings as a panel beater, he is often remarked upon for his innovative ability, to design, construct and repair where others have previously failed.
Rob is key to the effective running of Harewood. He started training with us at just sixteen years old and is now our respected Workshop Manager. His knowledge, experience and commitment to customer service epitomise the core values of the business. Delphi trained in diesel engines and senior MOT tester, Robert is known for his technical abilities and problem-solving skills, ensuring Harewood remains current in diagnostics and repairs.
Ian came to us as an apprentice and has gone from strength to strength over the years. He is now an established member of our team and is currently working towards the role of Senior Mechanic. Known for his reliability and efficiency, Ian always keeps our customers happy by doing his utmost to return their cars on time, keeping them safe and on the road.
Scott is our current apprentice in training. He has a positive attitude, is keen to learn and always happy to help. Now well into his second year of the apprenticeship, Scott is in training for the whole range of maintenance and repair work that we undertake at Harewood. We strongly believe that investing in the future is the only way to maintain a sustainable business and are pleased to have Scott as part of the team.
Both Paul’s daughter Alison and his granddaughter Hannah manage the busy reception. One of them will be available to greet you with a smile at the desk or with a friendly voice at the end of the phone.
